Synthesis and Physical Visualization of Sound A project workgroup interested in creative applications of our understanding of the nature of sound. The project aims to create both a musical performance and interactive exhibit incorporating at least the following three elements: a modified guitar with inductive effects similar to a Theremin, a tesla coil which functions as a speaker, and a Ruben’s Tube, which uses fire to visualize sound waves.
