Cave Paper Profiles

Paper profiling in The Cave is an ongoing process. Sometimes profiles get corrupted and need to be remade, other times new inks or new printers require a new set of profiles to be created. You may also find multiple sets of profiles for the same paper, because paper profiling is also a process of experimentation and trial-and-error. The list below is a BEST EFFORT GUIDE to the profiles available in the lab. Before you buy paper, you should check your preferred computer/printer combination to ensure your paper will have a good profile for it (for help with this, see the glossary section on "soft proofing").

All Cave computers have the standard Epson paper profiles (for the printer they are attached to). Furthermore, all the Cave computers, except those with the 1280 printers, have profiles for the Ilford and Kodak inkjet paper series.
