Faculty artists Ted Warburton and Mark Franko, and guest choreographer Sommer Ulrickson work with student dancers in a production including a telematic internet collaboration with dancers in Los Angeles, a small chamber piece featuring baroque and ballet influences, and a work that incorporates movement, dramatic elements, and prop manipulation.

Gayageum & Faculty Composers

World renowned Korean artist Aeri Ji returns to UCSC for a performance of music for the Korean gayageum, a traditional string instrument. Concert includes works by renowned Korean composers Byung-Ki Hwang and Young-Ja Lee plus UCSC faculty composers David Cope and Hi Kyung Kim. After intermission faculty composers Karlton Hester, David Evan Jones, and Ben Carson present works for various small ensembles.
