UCSC requires a parking permit on evenings and weekends in our parking lot. Permits are available for purchase from vending machines in the lot or from attendants, if present. Please arrive 30 minutes before curtain to park, pick up your tickets, and be seated before the performance starts.

(UCSC Ticket Office, UCSC Theater Arts Center: open Tuesday–Saturday, 12:00–4:00pm and one hour prior to scheduled performances; Civic Box Office: open Tuesday-Friday 11:00am- 6:00pm; Saturday 10:00am-1:30pm. • STUDENT, SENIOR & ALUMNI DISCOUNT:
Seniors (62+), students with valid ID, and UCSC Alumni Association members receive discounts to Arts Division performances. (Alumni members may purchase up to two student-priced tickets to most Music and Theater Arts productions.) When ordering tickets, please indicate your status. You will be asked to show valid ID at the performance. We will require a ticket upgrade without valid ID.
All venues are WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE. We recommend advance purchase of wheelchair accessible seating for performances with reserved seating.
• MOBILITY IMPAIRED patrons may be dropped off directly in front of our theaters; adjacent parking is available for vehicles displaying a parking placard.
• LATE SEATING:
Latecomers will be admitted to performances at an appropriate pause designated by the artist or the house manager. Please note that in some cases, there MAY BE NO LATE SEATING. Please allow at least 30 minutes to park, pick up your tickets, and be seated.
• PHOTOGRAPHY, AUDIO- and VIDEO RECORDING are not allowed during performances without advance written permission.
• YOUNG AUDIENCES:
Most of our programs are NOT SUITABLE for younger children and infants. We strongly encourage parents to exercise discretion when considering bringing children to performances. Regardless of age, each child must have a ticket for an individual seat.
Audience members should be able to sit quietly throughout the performance.
• ASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES:
ALDs are available upon request for patrons in the Mainstage, Second Stage, Experimental Theater, and Recital Hall. Please contact the Ticket Office in advance to reserve one, or see the House Manager before the performance.
• LARGE PRINT PROGRAMS:
We are happy to provide large print programs if requested at least three working days in advance of the event.
• SIGN-LANGUAGE INTERPRETATION:
We will make every effort to arrange for sign-language interpretation if requested in a timely manner.
