Jacques Desjardins
Concert Choir Conductor

The UCSC Concert Choir is a 75-voice choral ensemble that includes students, faculty, staff, and community members. It is open to singers of diverse musical backgrounds—all that is required is dedication and an eagerness to sing. The ensemble performs a wide variety of repertoire from all historical periods, including several major works each year. In recent years, the choir has performed Lou Harrison’s La Koro Sutro, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Orff’s Carmina Burana, Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, and Beethoven’s Mass in C. Please contact conductor Jacques Desjardins at 459-5106 or bachchus@cats.ucsc.edu for more information.
