Mel Wong is available for residencies, master
classes, and choreography. In addition, he has a
full evening solo lecture/performance, "Growing Up
Asian-American in the Fifties," where he dances
with his yoyo, shows slides and videos, and talks
about the history of Asian-Americans.
Mel Wong is available either for
single performances, weekend residencies, week long
residencies (where he could perform, teach classes,
and choreograph a dance for students), or
longer.
Master classes include teaching
in either modern technique, improvisation,
experimental forms (which explores the creative
process in the visual arts and dance, with no dance
or movement background necessary), or
choreography.
