Sara Roberts

and

conversation with Elliot Anderson at College VIII, Room 240, at 7:30 p.m.

The events are free and open to the public.

Elliot Anderson has been involved professionally in the field of computer technology since the early 1980's. He has organized numerous events and exhibitions focusing on technology and its application and effect on the arts. He has been a visiting artist at UC Davis, and the California Institute for the Arts. He is currently a Visiting Lecturer in Computer Art at UCSC and for the Digital Media department at the San Francisco Art Institute.

Please join the UCSC art community for a lecture by Sara Roberts and conversation with Elliot Anderson after the opening reception. Sara Roberts is the Director of the Integrated Media Program & Co-director of the Center for Experiments in Arts and Technology at CalArts (California Institute for the Arts, Los Angeles). She also produces interactive computer installations that explore the emotional frontier of human-machine relations.

Gallery hours are Tuesday - Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
The gallery is wheelchair accessible and admission is free.
