Salvang, CA Most people are familiar with the aerial imagery of cropland, either from the window of a plane or from photographs. The grids and circles of cropland are particularly what has inspired this body of work. The rest of my inspiration comes from an interest in our physiological relationship with land. I am concerned with consumption and waste. The instillation of mixed media sculpture probes at the mentality(ies) which drive such action. |
