My most recent photographic work has been a study of found textures and graphic shapes through the examination of industrial surfaces. Enhancing color and composition through digital printing, I am able to emphasize depth and abstraction in my images. I am most interested in how evidence of decomposition, including surface quality and texture, communicates the history of an object and create a form of physical memory. Through still samples of organic decay, my work aims to re-appropriate value to those objects that we discard.
