Directions to Baskin Visual Arts, UC Santa Cruz

(LOOK FOR "PRINT SALE" DIRECTIONAL SIGNS POSTED ON CAMPUS)

From Monterey and other points south:

From San Jose and other points north:

  • Take Hwy 17 SOUTH towards SANTA CRUZ
  • Take Hwy 1 NORTH in Santa Cruz (toward Half Moon Bay).
  • Continue NORTH on Hwy 1 as it turns into Mission St.
  • Turn RIGHT on Bay Street.
  • Turn LEFT on High Street at the campus entrance (FOLLOW "PRINT SALE" SIGNS)
  • Turn Right onto Heller Dr. (into the UCSC WEST ENTRANCE)
  • At 4th stop sign turn Right onto Meyer Dr. (signs indicate performing arts).
  • Take the first left and then an immediate right into the parking lot
  • Be sure to pay a meter or display your parking pass (see below).
  • A short walking path (uphill to the right) takse you to Baskin Visual Arts.

Parking permits are REQUIRED at all times.

Information listed below is for the Print Sale only. Parking requirements may be different on other days or in lots other than the Performing Arts parking lot.

Parking permits are $6 Monday–Friday, and $3 Saturday & Sunday.

• The Friday of the Print Sale from 7:30–10 am, full-day permits must be purchased from the Main entrance Kiosk.
• The Friday of the Print Sale from 10 am–4:30 pm
, permits may be purchached from an attendant in the Performing Arts parking lot.
• The Friday of the Print Sale from 4:30–8:30 pm
, permits may be purchased from a vending machine in the Performing Arts parking lot.*

• The Saturday of the Print Sale, permits may be purchased from a vending machine in the Performing Arts parking lot all day.*

* When parking attendants are selling permits for an event, permits must be purchase from attendant instead of vending machines.
